Sonicware ELZ_1

The Sonicware ELZ_1 was developed as a powerful tool to develop unique sounds that can be incorporated in to your compositions and performances.  To create unique sounds, you need unique set of tools; this led to the development of nine synthesis engines from the ground up with the Sonicware mindset.

Each synthesizer engine opens up new possibilities for sound creation:

  • FM SYNTH (4 operators with feedback and detuning)

  • 8BIT WAVE MEMORY SYNTH (waveform editing and morphing with FM mode)

  • DNA EXPLORER (extract and generate waveforms from audio)

  • SiGRINDER (granular synthesizer engine)

  • STANDARD OSC (sin, square, triangle and saw waves)

  • LOW-BIT OSC (sin, square, triangle and saw waves)

  • CUSTOM OSC (blend between two oscillators)

  • MASKED NOISE(Noise synth engine)

  • SAND FLUTE(Noise synth engine)

To further develop your sounds, the ELZ_1 has a number of filters including high pass, low pass, band pass, peaking and notch.

A bank of useful effects are also included - OverDrive, Distortion, Fuzz, Chorus, Vibrato, Phaser, Flanger, Tremolo, AutoPan, RingModulator, AutoWah, StereoDelay, TapeEcho, ReverseDelay, Room, Hall, Plate, Custom Reverb.

The arpeggiator has eight different modes - Up, Down, UpDown, DownUp, Up&Down, Down&Up, Random and Play Order.

A USB connector on the rear provides not only MIDI connectivity but allows you to back up your sound patches and update the device with the latest firmware.
