The Community R-Series is a comprehensive range of high performance full-range horn loaded loudspeakers, designed to provide high quality music and voice reproduction in applications requiring extreme weather   resistance. All the products in the R Series use a blend of sophisticated technologies to ensure they will withstand long term exposure to severe environmental conditions.

The UV resistant, curva-linear enclosures, roto-moulded for the smaller products and multi layer glass composite  for the larger systems, all carry a 15-year warranty on their structural integrity. Furthermore the curva-linear form reduces standing waves within the enclosures for enhanced LF performance. These sophisticated enclosures are also fitted with integral mounting points, allowing them to be installed using Community’s comprehensive range of high quality stainless steel hardware.

Extreme weather resistance was also considered while selecting the driver complement that would be deployed in the R Series loudspeakers and resulted in the use of Weather treated LF sections and non metallic MF and HF devices. This extremely weather resistant driver complement is further protected by Community’s Weather-Stop™ grille. This grille structure consists of stainless 100 x 110 strand steel mesh, open cell foam, and perforated stainless steel, thereby providing maximum protection with minimal attenuation.

Extreme environmental conditions are even considered inside each enclosure, as all the crossovers used in the R Series are treated with Community’s own Environ-Tech™ coating to prevent moisture from affecting components and connections.

The R-Series starts with the compact R.25 and extends to the mighty R-Levi and has all of the same weather resistant properties - with the benefit of horn loading and an extensive range of horn patterns for applications with greater throw distances or requiring high sound pressure levels.
