Active Damping Control^TM

The most obvious use is the compensation of loss in long speaker cable runs. The sophisticated loudspeaker designer is able to alter the amplifier's output impedance within a defined range - including virtually "negative" values - this meaning dramatically improved cone control resulting in better sound and higher output.

True Power Limiter^TM

The real-world approach of limiting the amplifier's output at true power levels relevant for the load - as opposed to a simplified equation based on a nominal impedance. The TruePower limiter keeps the output power at safe levels depending on the varying load impedance over frequency.

Live Impedance Measurement^TM

Load monitoring?! Armonía makes the load impedance visible! New, and only with Powersoft and Armonía: At a click of the mouse, see the impedance curve of a particular channel - real-time, during the live performance, with musical signal, and at real-world power levels.

The NEW WORK IC6 ProA
Self-Powered and DMX controlled ceiling speaker

The NEW Award Winning WORK IC6 ProA cannot be compared with traditional ceiling loudspeakers as it features an internal high quality 40W class D amplifier, allowing the product to be used for BGM and foreground music - or in applications with high ceilings. A further advantage of the Class D amplifier is efficiency. In this time of carbon footprints, green credentials, and rising energy costs this is a factor we all consider. The internal amplifier also has a standby mode, and can be integrated with a PIR so that the sound system turns of and on as people leave or enter a room.The IC6 ProA's primary method of control is via DMX. This allows the user to create up to 512 zones per DMX universe.
Using DMX makes designing audio and lighting installations extremely easy as all the control can be done in one language (DMX) from a single control source - lighting console, simple wall mounted lighting controller, AMX, Crestron etc. In fact with the launch of the WORK VMX4 a DMX controlled video switcher even video can be controlled via DMX. NEW Range From Powersoft - Duecanali

With Powersoft's continued success and growth especially in the touring market where their products being used by some of the leading rental companies in the world. Turning their attention back to the installation market Powersoft launch a new series of installation amplifiers - Duecanali.

This new amplifier range is based on Powersoft's signature K-Light platform, which launched in 2008. The Duecanali range initially consists of two 2 channel models - The Duecanali 3904 fitted in a stylish one-rack unit case, 360mm deep with a weight of 8 Kg. The 3904 provides 1000W per channel with an 8-ohm speaker load, 1950W at 4-ohms and 2400W at 2-ohms in stereo configuration. While the larger Duecanali 5204 provides 1400W per channel with an 8-ohm speaker load, 2600W at 4-ohms and 2800W at 2-ohms in stereo configuration.
As the market has grown to expect from Powersoft the design also features low power consumption with an incredible Power Factor efficiency of more than 0.90 from 500W to full power. This yields a 40 to 60% reduction in current draw over traditional power amplifiers without PFC, helping to lower the carbon footprint and delivering a massive economic benefit for venue operators. High-Performance Indoor/Outdoor Column Line-Array System

The new ENTASYS^TM three-way, full-range column line-array loudspeaker system delivers true line-array performance in a compact weather-resistant package. Designed for permanent installation applications including auditoria, airports and train stations, conference centers, houses of worship, stadium concourses and museums.

ENTASYS offers high output and high power handling capability that outperforms comparable systems, boasting multiple low frequency, midrange and high frequency drivers for the most consistent coverage available, delivering a uniform, constant vertical beamwidth from 800 Hz to 16 kHz.

Each ENTASYS full-range column includes six low frequency neodymium drivers, eighteen 2.35-inch midrange drivers and six 7-inch long x 1-inch wide planar-coupled patent-pending Compact Ribbon Emulator (CRE) high frequency elements.

ENTASYS is designed to be modular, allowing the installer to use multiple ENTASYS full-range columns and low frequency extension columns to create extremely narrow focused vertical coverage previously only possible using powered, steered arrays. For additional low frequency extension, use Community's new VLF-Series compact subwoofers.
